Hundreds
of crossings are made every year and roughly 30 to 50 %
of the hybrids lines were selected, of which roughly
1~10 individual plants can be highlighted from the
selected hybrid lines and send into the lab for further
screening.

correspond to the market trends, the meri-clones will be
examined carefully and only few of the individuals will
be recognized as outstanding and then be step into the
trial production stage.

strict conditions to secure more, before the commercial
production initiated.
There
are only roughly 50 new lines (out from the 100,000
testing plants) will be named every year from our
breeding program, and released to the markets.
